GASTROINTESTINAL DISORDERS

The gastrointestinal tract is the gateway from the outside world into our bodies. This begins with food and how it impacts our bodies. Many gastrointestinal disorders can be alleviated with changes to diet. That being said, this is not the only factor that can interfere with how our gastrointestinal, or “G.I.” tract, functions. Autoimmune reactions, adrenal dysfunction, and mental-emotional issues can all alter how our GI tract works.

Bloating, pain, constipation, diarrhea, and gas are all symptoms of an unhealthy GI tract, and indicate that something isn’t functioning properly under the ‘hood’. Conditions commonly seen within the scope of naturopathic medicine include:

  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome

  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease

  • Cirrhosis

  • Non-alcoholic Steatohepatitis (Fatty Liver)

  • Gall Stones

  • Colic

  • Constipation

  • Diarrhea

  • Ulcers - duodenal and peptic

If any of the above relates to your case, and you’re ready to begin the healing process, contact the clinic to book your initial consult. If you still aren’t sure, book a free 15-minute no-obligation consult to find out a few more details on what naturopathic medicine is and if it is applicable to you.
